Transport Locks: Locking & Stowing
1. The Kwik-Pit has two “ Transport Locks”

left & one on the right side of the “Lift Axle Assembly”

Transport Locks”

are used to keep the machine raised when no hydraulic
power is supplied, or in the event of hydraulic failure during
transporting or servicing the machine. (See Fig. # 4-24)

• Install transport locks on left and right side of the lift axles to
avoid cylinders settling during transport or servicing.
FAILURE TO COMPLY COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY
OR DEATH
2. The “ Transport Locks”

MUST be installed into the
“Lock Position”

whenever the Kwik-Pit is transported,
serviced, to avoid the hydraulic cylinders losing pressure,
and causing the “Lift Axle Assembly”

to lower the
machine.

3. The “ Transport Locks”

have a designated “Stow
Position”

. The “ Transport Locks”

MUST be
returned to the Stowed Position before the Kwik-Pit is
lowered. (See Fig. # 4-24)(See Fig. # 4-25)
IMPORTANT
Always return the Transport Locks in the Stowed Position
on the Kwik-Pit when not in use.
