First 1 Hour Of Operation
Check Wheel Flange Bolt Torque
It’s a quick procedure, which involves inspecting each lug bolt
on the wheel to check if they are too tight or too loose. If the
lug bolts are too tight, they can cause severe problems such
as stripping the fastener threads or stretching the wheel hub
threads. If the lug bolts are too loose, the loose can cause
the wheel mounting hole to elongate and cause the lug bolts
to also be damaged. Loss of wheel can happen if enough
lug bolts are lost.
1. If the machine is in the raised position, Install transport
locks on left and right side of the lift axles to avoid cyl -
inders settling during servicing.

WARNING

Hydraulic Drive Option:
Engage park brake, place
transmission in PARK, shut off engine, remove key,
and wait for all moving parts to stop before leaving
the tractor cab.
•
Electric Drive Option:
Turn machine OFF, shut down
and lock out power source, unplug power cord and
wait for all moving parts to stop before inspecting,
servicing or repairing machine.
• Keep body, hair, and clothing away from moving con -
veyor belt and rollers.
• Do not operate with any guards removed or modified.
Keep guards in good working order. Failure to comply
could result in death or serious injury.
2. Check after the first 1 hour of use. If “Wheel Flange
Bolts”

torque is not at the specified torque, re-torque
all “Wheel Flange Bolts”

. If bolt torque is stable
check at 50 hour intervals or (weekly)
