Installing an R100 disk shelf
Installing an R100 disk shelf using two-post mounting brackets
Installing the disk
shelf To install the R100 disk shelf using two-post mounting brackets, complete the
following steps.
WARNING WARNING
You must install each disk shelf with either the two Telco brackets or the
mid-mount brackets that came with the rack mounting hardware kit in your
shipment package. Do not ear-mount the R100 into a Telco-type rack
without Telco support brackets; the R100 disk shelf will collapse from the
rack under its own weight.
Step Action
1 Put on the antistatic wrist strap and grounding leash.

3 Select two holes on each side of the rack for the installation.
