SERIAL INTERFACE CONNECTORS

Serial interface signals are output from the system board through an external 9-pin COM
port connector at J9 and an internal 10-pin COM header connector at J6. The 9-pin, D-
subconnector is located at the rear of the system unit. The 10-pin header is located
internally on the system board. Pin locations and pin assignments for the serial interface
COM port connector (J9) is shown in Figure A-3 and Table A-2. Pin assignments for the
serial interface COM header (J6) is shown in Table A-2.
