5-10 Repair

SIMM Removal

Remove any optional SIMMs from the system board as follows.

Remove the system unit cover and any expansion boards as previously described.

Press the metal clips at the outer edges of the socket away from the SIMM (see
Figure Section 5-10).

Push the SIMM away from the locking tabs and remove it from the socket.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each SIMM being removed.

NOTE:

SIMMs is in Section 3, “Option Installation.”
