Change Procedure of Drive Letter
For Windows Server 2008
1. From Start Menu , right-click on “My Computer” to select “Manage” and start “Server
Manager” .
2. On the left side of the screen, select “Storage → Disk Management” .
3. Right-click on the volume that the drive letter is to be changed and select “Change Drive Letter
and Path” .
4. Click “Change” .
5. Click “Assign the following drive letter” and select a drive letter to be assigned to.
6. Click “OK” .
7. When the following message is displayed, click “Yes” .
8. End Server Manager .
This is the end of the procedure.
For Windows Server 2008 R2
1. From Start Menu , right click on “My Computer” to select “Manage” and start “Server
Manager” .
