Setup of OS 

 

After completing the hardware setup, proceed to set up the OS.   
 
Contact the distributor from which you purchased or the maintenance service company for 
installation procedure of Windows other than Windows Server 2008/Windows Sever 2008 R2.

 

 
 

Setting up Windows Server 2008 

 
After completing the hardware setup, set up Windows Server 2008 and the system. 
Refer to 

“Introduction”

 and 

“Hardware”

 for the hardware setup procedure. 

Refer also to the following online manuals included in the attached “NEC EXPRESSBUILDER”

 Before starting setup forOS with EXPRESSBUILDER, ensure that 

all cores in the server is checked as “Valid(Enable)” on the Core 
Status screen of the System Web Console. 

●

If any core in the server is checked as “Invalid(Disable)”, OS 

setup may not be started. 

(This restriction will be removed in the future.)
