The paper setting screen is displayed when you load paper in the
bypass tray.
Bypass [Others] Paper
Paper Size:A4
Paper Type:Plain
Close Edit

Select “Paper Size” using the cursor keys and press [Edit].

Select “Other” using the cursor keys and press [Enter].

Select the appropriate paper size using the cursor keys and press
[Enter].
IMPORTANT
We recommend using the envelopes as follows: DL (110mm×220mm), COM10
(104.8mm×241.3mm), Monarch (98.4mm×190.5mm), Envelope1 (90mm×205mm),
Envelope2 (240mm×332mm).
When you use the envelope in other sizes than shown above, set the size in the
custom size setting. For the custom size setting, refer to “Registering custom sizes”
(page 1-55).
NOTE
If the envelope is printed out wrinkled, take the following steps:
(1) Register the envelop size so that the length is longer than the width in “Registering
custom sizes” (page 1-55).
(2) Load the envelope into the bypass tray from the longer edge.
When the flap runs length-wise, be sure to load it into the bypass tray from the
side including the flap.
(3) Select the custom paper registered as (1) in “Paper Size”.

Select “Paper Type” using the cursor keys and press [Edit].

Select “Envelope” using the cursor keys and press [Enter].

NOTE
When you set the paper size to “DL”, “COM10”, “Monarch”, “Envelope1”, or “Envelope2”,
the paper type is automatically set to “Envelope”.
