Loading envelopes in the bypass tray

1

Open the bypass tray.

2

Set the paper size dial to “Others”.

Align the dial groove to the one on the bypass tray.

Others

Slide the paper guide to the desired envelope size, and load the
envelope straight with the side to be printed on downward.

IMPORTANT

• Fold the flap of the envelope. Do not use envelopes that come with glue as a sealant.
• When the envelope is a type where the flap does not run length-wise but runs

across one of the shorter ends, be sure to load it into the bypass tray from the side
including the flap. Otherwise, a paper jam may occur.
