Automatic paper supply function

When the paper in the currently selected paper supply tray runs out during

printing, the machine automatically switches to the appropriate alternative

cassette and continues printing, as long as the paper is the same size and type.

Paper supply changing order

If the automatic paper supply function operates, the paper cassettes and

trays are selected with the following priority:
1st paper cassette



2nd paper cassette (option)



3rd paper cassette (option)



4th paper cassette (option)



Bypass tray

IMPORTANT

• To use the bypass tray in the automatic paper supply function, the “Print Cassette”

setting is required (page 8-32).

• When special paper such as OHP film is loaded in the bypass tray, the automatic

paper supply function could activate causing the wrong paper to be supplied. In
this case, it is recommended that the paper type in the bypass paper setting be set
to a type other than plain paper (page 1-55).


