Normally the RS-485 converter should be recognized from the PC. For testing the

connection, open the device manager of the PC. A new COM-port must appear.

•

Connect the RS-485 converter with the Modbus connector at the main-pcb at the

SWG100.

•

Open the menu: Extras/general infos at the SWG100.

•

Get in the menu “Modbus”. To do

this, press the F2-key.

•

At this screen, the settings, for the SWG-100 can be set. The screen shot below shows

an instance. Of course, it can be set other baud rates or settings.
