Position the Shuttle Discovery and the Discovery
Seat forward-facing when used as a seat in a motor
vehicle.
WARNING
Transfer the user to the vehicle seat and use the
vehicle-manufacturer-installed restraint systems
whenever it is feasible. Store the unoccupied
Shuttle Discovery in the trunk or secure it in the
vehicle during travel.
WARNING
Use both pelvic and shoulder-belt restraints to
reduce the possibility of head and chest impacts
with vehicle components in the event of a vehicle
collision.
WARNING
Remove and secure the tray separately in the vehicle
to reduce the potential for injury to the user.
WARNING
Do not rely on postural supports for user restraint
in a moving vehicle. Refer to image and pelvic-belt
restraint use.
WARNING
Do not use the Shuttle Discovery following
involvement in any type of vehicle collision.
WARNING
Do not make any alterations or substitutions to the
Verve Stroller securement points or to the frame.
WARNING
Take care when applying the occupant restraint
to position the seatbelt buckle so that the release
button will not be in contact with the Discovery
Seat components during a crash.
WARNING
The maximum seat loading of 25 kg (55 lb) must
not be exceeded.
