Adjusting the height
Never adjust the height of the Launcher Base with the user seated in the
Discovery Seat.
To adjust the height of the seat on the Launcher Base undo the 4 release levers
(A)
by a few turns. Pull the seat out of the angle slot and reposition the seat to
the required height and re-tighten the four release levers.
For ease of adjustment, we recommend that the height of the Launcher Base
should be adjusted without the Discovery Seat mounted on the base.
Removing the Discovery Seat
Release the red safety plungers by pulling the red knobs

Once the front of the seat is free, tilt the seat back and remove the seat from the
rear mounting bar.
WARNINGS
1. Ensure the seat is secure and locked in the angle slot before
placing the user into the seat.
2. Always lock the casters when the Launcher Base is in use.
3. Care must be taken at all times especially when the seating
is in the raised position.
WARNING
Before removing the Discovery Seat from the Launcher Base, the
casters must be locked.
WARNINGS
1. Always hold the Discovery Seat properly with both hands.
Otherwise the seat could fall and cause damage.
2. Never install or remove the Discovery Seat with the user
sitting in the seat.

A-Frame Launcher Base (NZ & AU only)
To unfold the A-Frame Launcher Base, use both hands to squeeze the red
levers

, slide both down until the levers both re-engage. Ensure it cannot be
readjusted without squeezing the red levers

Never adjust the height of the A-Frame Launcher Base with the user seated in
the Discovery Seat. To adjust the height, use both hands to squeeze the red
levers

and slide to adjust height. Release levers and ensure both engage
and lock.
For the caregiver’s safety we recommend the caregiver kneel in front of the
Launcher Base and maintain a straight back while adjusting the seat height.
Please ensure all warnings on Pages 52 and 53 are read and understood prior to
using the A-Frame Launcher Base.
