To ensure correct use of the appliance, the
following rules should be adopted.
Caution - Warning
Lift the appliance’s fume pipe handle from
the oven’s suction pipe at the end of smok-
ing.
– Always keep the appliance and the surroun-
ding areas clean.
– When cleaning, use only food-approved
detergents.
Caution - Warning
The appliance must only be operated with
Convection cooking after having inserted the
fume pipe into the intake pipe of the Oven.
Caution - Warning
Use of the appliance in oven operating mode
other than CONVECTION is not permitted.
Important
Only use moistened and potentially fl a-
voured wood chips. Use of dry chips is not
permitted.
Important
Before use, moisten the wood fl akes/chips
by immersing them in water for 30 minutes,
then removing the excess water before use.
Caution - Warning
Only use chips specifi cally prepared for
smoking with a length of not less than 4 mm.

Lower weight charges may result in close
ignitions and lower durations.

Close the drawer completely up to stop to
prevent uncontrolled air supply.

Do not start the SMOK on an oven that has
operated for a long time at high tempera-
tures.
Caution - Warning
The SMOK is not fi xed to the oven’s vault, pay
attention not to drag it until it falls.
Important
Do not abruptly cool the drawer by using
water.
Important
When you do not wish to perform further
smoking, it is recommended to restore the
oven via a washing.
Subsequent operation of the oven at high
temperatures may fi x the smoke and make
restoration diffi
cult.
