Transporting the truck crane

Observe the national regulations that apply to transport when the truck crane 
needs to be loaded. Also observe the additional safety measures prescribed by 
the forwarder (e.g. shipping or railway company).

Transport should be carried out only by qualified heavy transport companies 
whose personnel are familiar with loads with these dimensions and weights. 
Make sure that the transport vehicle used has sufficient load-bearing capacity 
and a sufficiently large loading area. Dimensions and weights of the truck crane;

Ensure your truck crane is in a safe state before loading it. The truck crane must 
be correctly unrigged and all detachable equipment must be removed or secured 
against slipping and swinging (e.g. lifting limit switch weight, hook block, camera).

 6.1         

Loading the truck crane under its own force

Load and unload the truck crane with particular care!

When loading and unloading, secure the transport vehicle with chocks against 
rolling away in both directions.

Loading and unloading may only be carried out on level ground. Only use ramps 
with sufficient load-bearing capacity for driving up and down.
