Information on slinging
To lift the lattice extension parts, only use the approved lifting gear that
corresponds to the load.
Detailed information on how to sling the available lattice extension is given in the
supplied
lattice extension operating manual.
Attach the lifting gear to the slinging points intend-
ed for this purpose.
Depending on the version, the slinging points may
be marked differently. Stickers are normally used.
– One sticker (
I
) indicates the slinging point.
– One stickers (
III
) numbers the slinging point,
e.g. slinging point
3
.
– One sticker (
II
) gives the required information
on slinging and the weights for the various
combinations and transport conditions.
If there are no fixed slinging points, note the specified centres of gravity of the
individual lattice extension parts;

Information on rigging
If a rigging hook was supplied, then connections that are not established with pins
are for the most part designed to be operated from the ground with the rigging
hook. Observe the corresponding information in the supplied
lattice extension
operating manual
.
If the connection points cannot be accessed from the ground and there are no
suitable access aids on the truck crane or the lattice extension, then you must use
a working platform or a ladder (preferably self-standing ladders). Never climb on
to the carrier in the slewing range of the lattice extension.
