While driving, watch out for any warning or error messages. To avoid accidents
and damage, you must know what to so when a warning or error message is
issued;

Reduce the driving speed in time before sharp bends, narrow places and low
headrooms, before ground undulations and especially before tram intersections
with trolley-wire cables.
Take the dimensions and driving properties of
your truck crane into account!
You must know the total weight and the axle loads
of your truck crane in order not to exceed weight
limits on roads or the load-bearing capacity of the
ground.
To be able to drive through narrow and low places
safely, you must know the width and height of
your truck crane.
Always maintain sufficient distance from electric
cables and overhead lines.
While driving, also bear in mind that the main boom of your truck crane protrudes
forwards beyond the cab and the rear part of your truck crane swings out when
cornering.
Drive at a safe distance past buildings, poles or trees close to the roadside. In
confined spaces and places that are difficult to see, you must be guided. The
banksman determines the driving speed and monitors the movements of your
truck crane. Use the agreed signals and hand signals.
Make sure to stay off unpaved side strips, as these can be treacherous traps for
your truck crane.
You must drive particularly carefully on wet and slippery roads.
