Observe all warning and information signs on the truck crane.
For walking on the truck crane during maintenance work, the same information
applies as for walking on it during rigging work.

Supplied operating manual
Remove any ice and snow from the truck crane before commencing crane
operation.
Keep all handles, steps, step treads and ladders free of snow and ice.
Do not carry out maintenance work unless the truck crane is standing on flat, firm
ground and is secured against rolling away.
Perform maintenance work after the truck crane
has been shut down. Always ensure that the truck
crane is well-protected against unauthorised
start-up before starting maintenance work.
Lock the crane cab and driver's cab and take the
keys.
Attach warning signs.
If due to exceptional circumstances, the truck
crane needs to be put into operation for certain
types of maintenance work, great care must be
taken in the range of moving parts. There is a
risk of injury
!
The RCL must never be overridden for maintenance work either. Enter the
current rigging mode at the RCL before performing a crane movement. You might
need to change the rigging mode (e.g. counterweight rigging) to be able to
perform the movement required for maintenance work.
Clean those parts of the truck crane on which maintenance work is to be carried
out. Especially the vicinity of oil filling, oil checking and oil drain openings. Always
clean the lubricating nipples before pressing in grease.
When changing the oil, let it run out at operating temperature. Wear suitable
personal protective equipment and make sure that oil does not run out in an
uncontrolled manner.
Risk of scalding!
