5 Instrument is dropping tips
• Y-axis is not calibrated properly;
• There is too much grease on the piston tips;
• X-rings and O-rings wore off and pistons need maintenance or replacement;
Loose axis coupling
1 Recalibrate Y-axis accordingly
2 Remove extra-grease and examine the condition of pistons
3 Check Y and V-axis coupling, tighten the nuts if needed
6 Heater is not warming up
• Parts are wearing off;
• PCB is broken and cannot control heating module
1 Check all the wires and connections to PLC (CBL_C006), PCB (RS232) and power supply, make sure
they are tight
2 Check heater resistance
3 Check resistance of the heater switch
4 Check if there is voltage at the input and output terminals of SSR
5 Check Pick IC : go to the System Status --> Pick IC If the number is 0279 Pick IC is functioning
properly, if it is 0000 Pick IC has to be replaced
7 X-Axis is not moving, triggering error 20
• Internal spillage
1 Use large amount of water and grease on the rails and in the sliders to clean them; make sure the
grease gets inside the bearings
2 Clean the rails and run X- motor test
3 If there is still rust on the rails repeat until they are clean and lubricate them
8 Door mechanism touches cartridge rack
• Improper transportation
Check the gap at the back of the X-axis to see if cartridge rack is properly aligned with the axis
9 The gap between HMI and the screen is too big
• Improper transportation;
• Loose screws
1 Move HMI frame forward
