Setting the Message Validity
Allows you to set a lifesfan to undelivered messages sent to the Short Message
Center (SMC). Messages which are not delivered within the set time frame are
automatically deleted.
1. While in the Message Edit screen, tap the pop up menu next to the icon
and then Message Validity Time displays.
The available validities in your phone are Default/3 days/2 days/1 day/12
Hours/2 Hours/1 Hour/30 Minutes.
2. Select the Validity you want.
Setting Deferred time
You can set a Deferred Time so that you can delay delivering a message until
the deferred time you set has past.
1. While in the Message Edit screen, tap the pop up menu next to the icon
and then Deferred Time displays.
The available deferred times in your phone are Immediate/After 3 days/After
2days/After 1 day/After 12 hours/After 2 hours/After 1 hour/After 30
minutes.
2. Select the Deferred Time you want.
Setting Delivery Acknowledgement
1. While in the Message Edit screen, tap the pop up menu next to the icon
and then the Delivery ACK options displays. Off/On/Enhanced are available
in your phone.
2. Select Delivery ACK option you want.
3. Tap Done in the Message Edit screen, the Message View screen appears. The
message input time, recipient, Callback Number, and message content
display in the Message View screen.
