Chapter 6. Contacts
Previously, you learned how to make calls to the numbers stored in the Internal
Phone Book in Phone Mode. The data used in the Phone Book is based on the
data stored in the Contacts application. Call Log is used in Contacts. You can
add names of people stored in Contacts to the Databook as the Attendee.
In addition, Message allows you to send a message to the phone number and
E-mail Address saved in Contacts.
The applications in your phone uses the information stored in contacts.
Contacts allows about 4000 entries. A maximum 5 phone numbers and 3
E-mail addresses are allowed for each entry. Each Phone Book Entry allows a
maximum 32 characters for the name and 32 digits for each number. You can
enter up to 48 characters per E-mail address.
The numbers stored in the contacts are classified into 7 groups.
The most frequently used phone numbers can be saved as Speed Dial entries.
The Speed Dial can hold up to 99 entries dialed as one-or-two-touch entries
stored in locations 1 through 99.
Additionally, 20 of the Speed Dial entries can be designated as Voice Dial
entries.
Your phone can be synchronized to commercial PIM applications,
including MS Outlook ’97, ’98, and 2000, using an optional data
connectivity kit.
