Getting Started
Checking the battery level
To check your phone
’
s battery level, look at the battery charge indicator located
in the upper-right corner of the phone
’
s display screen .
It generally takes about 3 hours to recharge a completely run down battery.
If the red light on the charger flickers, the battery is not being charged.
Make sure it is the correct battery and charger, then clean the contacts on both
the charger and the battery. Re-install the battery, several times if necessary, and
if the trouble persists, consult an authorized service center.
Effective control of the battery
1. Only use the correct battery charger. (Using the wrong battery charger could
cause damage to your phone or battery, possibly leading to an explosion).
2. Do not attempt to disassemble or short-circuit the battery.
3. Store and charge the battery indoors. (If too hot or cold, the battery may
not charge properly and the red light will flicker. Over- or undercharging
will damage the battery, rendering it useless).
4. Do not store the battery or charger near fire or flame.
5. If you drop or impact the battery, it may be damaged or the life of the battery
may be shortened.
6. The advanced features of the Lithium battery eliminate the charge memory
problems associated with Ni-Cad batteries.
7. Do not store and charge the battery in hot places: near fire, in a car in the
summer etc./cold places: near an air conditioner, by an open window in winter.
8. If you use the phone in extreme temperature and/or humid conditions, the
safety cut-off will activate. If this occurs, remove the battery and let the phone
return to normal. Reinstall the battery and turn the phone on.
9. Store the battery at room temperature after charging if you do not plan to use
it for a long time. If you do not use the battery for a long time, it may need
recharging.
