Chapter 13. Messages
When the power is on, your phone is always ready to receive Calls, Text
Messages, Pages, and Voice Mail. It is possible to send a Text message or
E-mail to up to 10 receivers. Your phone can store up to a total of 199 Text
Messages and Pages. A message can hold up to 160 characters.

Inbox
The received messages are stored according to the time they
were received. Unread messages are marked by an
*
asterisk.

Outbox Drafts and sent messages are stored here. You can create a new
message or edit and resent a previously sent message.
The icons are defined below.
Outbox Status Icon
Save Edited messages are stored in the outbox but not sent.
Send Message has been sent.
Fail Message transmission failed.
Delivery Message has been delivered.
Cancel After sending, undelivered messages can be cancelled.
Pending Message transmission is unavailable when the recipient’s
phone is in an analog or no service area. The message is
pending, and will be transmitted as soon as the phone
moves into a digital service area.
