Accessing the Browser
Whenever you initiate the browser, your phone must be connected to the wireless
network of your service carrier. If you use the browser, a phone icon appears on
the display.
When using your browser, your service carrier charges you. Fees vary according
to your options and your service agreement. For more information, please
contact your service provider.
Starting the Browser prompt
To initiate the Mobile Web,

Open the flip and press the key on the keypad.

From the main menu in PDA Mode, tap the icon.

Tap Browser after highlighting Go to in the PDA Application on the
menu screen.
The first time you use the browser, you will be prompted to enable the security
feature. This process takes about 3-6 minutes to complete and occurs just one
time. When the process is completed, you are ready to initiate the wireless web
services.
When the security setup is completed, you may access to the Verizon Wireless
Web Home page, the main page for the browser, where you are allowed to
access all the sites. Since the Browser memorizes the most recently visited page
in the memory cache, when you use the Browser next time, that page will be
shown on the screen instead of the Homepage. Upon initiating the Browser, if
the Phone Icon is not displayed on the screen, the page your are viewing is in
the memory cache. If you access a page that is not saved in cache, the browser
will connect automatically.
