Air baffle pinch tab

Air baffle

2. Lower the air baffle into the server until the air baffle is seated firmly.

3. Press the power supply release tab and rotate the power supply back into the server.

4. Install the side cover (see “Installing the side cover” on page 252).

5. Lock the side cover.

6. Reconnect the external cables and power cords; then, turn on the attached devices and turn on the server.

Installing the side cover

If you removed the side cover, reinstall it.

Attention:

For proper cooling and airflow, replace the side cover before turning on the server. Operating

the server for extended periods of time (more than 30 minutes) with the side cover removed might damage
server components.

To install the side cover, complete the following steps.
