The System Menu
This is the main page containing the majority of information.
21.3.1
Supplementary Information
The
Supplementary Information
displays basic data such as the unit’s IP settings, serial number and software
/ firmware version numbers.
If the unit has not yet been configured, then the project name and description will be a default description. After
configuration, these fields display the information entered using the ON-AIR Designer software.
The fields show:

Project Name, Version, Comments
- as entered in the system configuration.
·
Free Configuration Memory
- the amount of free memory (for the configuration). Note that this appears
in green when there is plenty of memory left, and in red if the available memory falls below 20%.
·
Last Restart
- the date and time of the last system restart.
·
Config loaded -
the date and time when the last configuration was loaded.
·
Deskname, IP Address, Net Mask, Gateway, Nameserver, NTP Server, MAC Address
- the TCP/IP
settings of the Compact Engine control system.
·
OS Version
- this is the version of Operating Software running the control system. (Otherwise known as
the ‘ticker’ version.)
·
EPLD Version -
this is the version of DSP firmware running on the DSP chips.
·
ACEX Version
- this is the version of MADI chip firmware running on the MADI chips (if fitted).
·
Serial Number -
this is the serial number of the Real Time Clock (RTC) chip.
·
Template
- the configuration template used.
·
User Level
- the user mode which created the configuration (in the On Air Designer configuration
software).
·
Setup download from
- the IP address of the computer used to load the On Air Designer configuration.
