CHAPTER 3:

Installation and Setup

Model CRX-6.5K Probe Station

3. Attach the NW 40 flanges of the vacuum line to the T on the pump.

a. Remove the protective cap from the fitting shown in FIGURE 3-25.
b. Place an NW 40 centering ring on the top NW 40 port of the T (FIGURE 3-25).
c. Holding an NW 40 centering ring in place, set the vacuum line against the

centering ring (FIGURE 3-25).

d. Close the clamp around the fitting.
e. Finger tighten the clamp with the screw (FIGURE 3-25).

4. Remove the blank off plate from the NW 40 vacuum isolation valve on the probe

station. The clamp and centering ring are used when the vacuum hose is
attached in the next step.
