Working with the HR 600/2 unit
ð A window is opened.
b) Select a file in [.scr] format.
c) Confirm with [OK].
ð The profile templates have been imported.
In the frame [Backup]:
The [Last Backup] display panel has no functions.
In the [Backup-directory (host)] display panel, you can find the path to the backup
process. This path cannot be edited.
In the [Name of backup file] display panel, you can find the path and full file name
of the backup process.
ü To create a backup of the [ErsaHrData] database:
a) Click on the [Backup] button.
ð
The backup is created.
ð A message appears. The [* .bak] backup file contains the creation date in
the file name.
b) To get to the backup file in Windows Explorer, you can copy the path from the
[Backup-directory (host)] line and insert it into the header in the Explorer.
c) Confirm with [OK].
ð The backup has been successfully created.
ü
To check a created backup:
a) Click on the [Verify] button.
ð The backup is verified.
ð
A message appears.
b) Confirm with [OK].
In the frame [Restore]:
ü To load a backup of the [ErsaHrData] database:
a) Enter the full file name of the backup file into the [Name of restore-file] input
field.
ð Note: Navigate using Windows Explorer to the directory [Name of restore-
file] and copy the desired file name to the clipboard. Return to HRSoft and
copy the name to the [Name of restore-file] input field.
b) Click on the [Restore] button.
ð The backup is loaded.
ð A message appears.
c) Confirm with [OK].
In the frame [Reduce]:

To optimize a database:
a) Click on the [Reduce] button.
ð The database is optimized and restored. Through this operation, the file size
decreases.
a) Click on the [OK] button.
