6 | Function description
Working with the HR 600/2 unit
ð The contours of the component are identified and displayed as a red area.
ð The lower camera detects the connections of the component with differ-
ent brightness degrees. The connections of the component are shown with
a coloured border.
ð The component is lifted and if necessary aligned. The connections will then
be detected again.
ð The pick-and-place nozzle places the component in the target position.
6.5.3.2.5 Performing the soldering process
CAUTION
Risk of burning due to heated machine parts and PCB!
All heated machine parts as well as the surrounding housing parts and product sup-
port frame, the circuit board and the components become hot even during warm-up
to the process temperature [Tinit]!
Parts are particularly hot during the soldering process! After the soldering process,
wait until the device and the PCB have cooled down and reached non-hazardous tem-
peratures!
ü To start the soldering process:
a) Click on the button.
ð The soldering process is started.
ð You can view the process in the [Online-HR 600] window. With regard to
this, please read Chapter Record, archive and analyse processes [
} 138].
ð At the end of the process, the head moves to the park position.
ð
Cooling is started.
b) Wait until PCB and device have cooled down to safe temperatures.
c) Remove the PCB.
