show lldp local-device

This command uses to display summary information about the advertised LLDP local data. This
command can display summary information or detail for each interface.

Syntax

show lldp local-device [<slot/port>]

<slot/port> -

Displays a specific interface.

Default Setting

None

Command Mode

Privileged Exec

Display Message

Interface:

Identifies the interface in a slot/port format.

Port ID:

Shows the port ID associated with this interface.

Port Description:

Shows the port description associated with the interface.

show lldp local-device detail

This command uses to display detailed information about the LLDP data a specific interface transmits.

Syntax

show lldp local-device detail <slot/port>

<slot/port> -

Displays a specific interface.

Default Setting

None

Identifies the interface that sends the LLDPDU.

Chassis ID Subtype:

Shows the type of identification used in the Chassis ID field.
