Maintenance

Make sure that the Startup dialog
box has appeared.

Check that “COM1” is selected for
“Port.” Then, click the “OK” key.

Check that the initial startup screen of the External Panel Controller has appeared on
the PC.

NOTE
• If the basic screen does not appear in the External Panel Controller, turn the

printer off. Restart the External Panel Controller, and then turn the printer on
again.
