Note
The priority is identified with a "P". Only one single object can be given priority
status. If you create a new marker and give this priority, the position track is
disabled. The same applies if you start a new target track.
Relevant information about the priority target can be found in the lower left
corner of the view. If you think the text is small and hard to read, double-click
on the text field. This will increase the text size.
Target Track
During normal operation, some echoes are clearly more interesting than others.
In many situations specific echoes may be regarded as
targets . To keep track of
the targets you can use target markers and/or start target tracking . When target
tracking is activated, the bearing and tilt settings are automatically adjusted to
follow the movements of the tracked target.
The tracked target is regarded as an object , and it is identified with a circle and
two lines. The two lines reflect the size of the current tracking area. A new
manually initiated tracked object is automatically given priority status. The
bearing line is automatically locked on the object to reflects its bearing.
Place the cursor over the echo you wish to track. Press
Target Track
.
Auto Search
Press
Auto Search
to start the automatick search function. In the Auto Bearing
mode the CS90 system will automatically search within defined sector limits.
The sector is identified in the view using two angular symbols.
The search sector is adjusted by pressing and holding the
Auto Search
button and
simultaneously pressing the arrow buttons. The automatic search function is
stopped when one of the arrow buttons is pressed, but will continue once the
button is released. The bearing at the moment either button is released will
become the centre of the search.
To exit the automatic search mode press the
Manual
button.
Before you can change the settings related to a view, you must click inside the view to
activate it. The changes you make are by default only valid for the active view. Several of
the functions offer
Apply to All
. If you select
Apply to All
your setting is applied to all
the views in the current presentation mode.
