Safety Depth
This function specifies the limit for highlighting single depth values. Black colour
is used. All depth values indicating
deeper water than the specified safety depth are
shown with grey colour.

to allow shallow and deep contours to be drawn.
Shallow Contour
The
Shallow Contour
function specifies and shows a shallow contour line. The line is
marked with depth values at regular intervals. If the map does not have a contour for
the depth value you have specified, the nearest contour with a
larger absolute depth
value is shown. The area inside this contour line is shown with a dark blue colour.
Deep Contour
The
Deep Contour
function specifies and shows a deep contour line. The line is marked
with depth values at regular intervals. If the map does not have a contour for the depth
value you have specified, the nearest contour with a
larger absolute depth value is
shown. This contour line will not be marked with depth values. The area inside this
contour line is marked with darker colours than outside.
Shallow Pattern

Shallow Pattern
to present the area inside the safety contour line with a hatched
(or shaded) pattern.

Map Display page
Once a map service has been chosen, use
Map Display
to choose which map elements
to include in the map presentation. These map settings are only valid for WMS (Web
Map Service) maps from a KONGSBERG navigation system.
Map function
This is an "on/off" switch. Use
Map
to enable or disable the geographical map layer.
This function is opened from the
Cosmetics
menu.
Map Setup page
If you want to add a map to the display presentation you must first select a map
provider . Use the
Map Setup
page to choose a map provider and to enter necessary
provider URL, API Key or license. This page is located in the
Installation
dialog box.
