9.5 GRID FACTOR

Measured horizontal distance is multiplied by the scale factor in coordinate calculation.
The raw data is not altered by the scale factor. Enter the scale factor and the mean
elevation into screen, the downloaded raw data will contain a scale factor record. The
following grid factor is used to calculate coordinates.
