ON; The engine is running in this position.
・
Do not leave the key in this position for a long time when the engine is not running as this can
run down the battery.
・
When the starter switch is turned to the "ON" position, the lamps on the cluster meter panel
will all light for three seconds. This indicates that the duplex communications system check is
running. If no problem is detected, normal operation will begin automatically, but if an error
code is displayed, refer to the "inspection and servicing section" to find what the error code
means. In particular check that there are no error messages displayed before you start the
engine.

START; You can start the engine in this position. Once the engine has started, let go of the key.
It will return to the "ON" position automatically.

The engine starts only when the shift lever is in the "N"
position.)
The machine is equipped with an entry key system that prevents starting the engine unless the
preregistered startup tag (black) is touched against the entry key system and properly recognized,
except if the entry key system is not registered.

24V direct current power is available whenever the starter switch is
in the ON position.
・
Do not use it to power the cigarette lighter.
・
Only use accessories that require 100 W or less of 24 V power.
・
Do not connect multiple devices to the socket. Doing so could cause a fire.
・
Do not use plugs that do not fit properly in the power supply socket.
・
Do not insert metal or other objects into the socket. Also make sure no water or other liquids
get inside the socket.
・
Beware that using the power supply for long periods without the engine running could deplete
the battery.
