25. Changing the wire rope number of parts

25-2 Changing the wire rope number of parts

(T218351-084-0E)

(1)

Set the outriggers. Then retract and lower the boom fully and slew

it to the side or front.

(2) Remove the rope retaining bracket located at the segment on the

left side of the boom top.

(3)

Detach the rope socket.

(4) Remove the rope socket from the rope.
(5)

Detach the wire rope from the overhoisting detector weight.

(6) Change the number of the wire ropes.

NOTE

Use the wire guide to route the wire rope through the hook

(sheave).
