The Front Panel of the MT1200
You have already used the POWER switch on the MT1200 to turn power on and off.
This is a good time to get familiar with all the indicators on the front panel of the
MT1200.
The following diagram shows the placement and function of the controls and indicators
on the front of your MT1200, as well as a brief explanation of each:
Power Switch PWR TX RX CON STA
GPS
The Power Switch turns power on or off in the MT1200.
The GREEN PWR LED indicator shows when the MT1200 is powered on.
The RED TX LED lights when transmitting.
The GREEN RX LED lights when receiving signals.
The GREEN CON LED lights when a packet connection is in progress with another
packet station.
The GREEN STA LED lights when packets sent to a connected packet station have not
yet been acknowledged by that station.
The RED GPS LED is ON, when the Internal GPS is enabled, but a connected GPS
antenna is not detected. This LED flashes when the internal GPS is enabled, and GPS
antenna is detected, but valid GPS position has not yet been calculated.
The GREEN GPS LED flashes once per second when valid GPS position is known.
NOTE: All front panel LEDs will remain OFF if the LED command is set to OFF.
