This command sets the interval between GPS beacons.
If EVERY is specified, the beacon will be transmitted at the interval specified by the
hh:mm:ss parameter. This is set in hours:minutes:seconds.
If the optional key word START is given followed by a time (in 24 h format), the beacon
will not be transmitted until the specified time. The beacon will then be transmitted
according to the setting of the EVERY parameter. When using the START option, the
following beacon interval modifiers are disallowed.
(NOTE: If the current time is past the start time, the beacon will start at the next
scheduled interval based on the start time.)
If the option APPEND is included, and the PTT line between the microphone and radio
is also connected to pin 7 on the MT1200 radio port, a GPS beacon will be transmitted
upon release of the microphone PTT.
If the option CLEAR is included, the GPS buffer is cleared after transmission. This way
no copies of an invalid NMEA string are transmitted.
If the option DISTANCE is included with a specified distance value in meters or yards, a
GPS beacon is transmitted after that distance of travel.
If the option CORNER is included with specified degrees of direction, a GPS beacon is
transmitted after that amount of change. A velocity modifier can also be included, that
will cause the beacon will be transmitted when turning a corner above the specified
velocity.
