The axis error messages, which are listed below, only appear on the motor control page:

1. MOTOR TEMPERATURE ERROR –

this error occurs when the motor reaches the working temperature

limit. Wait for the motor to cool down before using the respective axis (fi gure 51). When this error is

active, the axis position reset button is replaced by the high temperature warning icon. If this problem

occurs frequently contact the technical assistance service.

2. AXIS LIMIT SWITCH –

this error appears when the axis reaches the maximum effective run.

Depending on whether the end or start limit switch is affected, the corresponding movement indicator

arrow turns red (see Y Axis in Figure 52) and the ENDSTOP MAX message appears. This is not an

error but a warning that the axis has reached its limit switch; this means that no action is required other

than to move the axis in the opposite direction to that indicated in the current error message.

3. AXIS DRIVER ERROR –

this error is due to a fault on the drivers associated with the respective axis,

when active the box corresponding to the affected axis turns orange (see Y Axis in fi gure 53). Reset the

driver by pressing the button that appears in this box. If the problem persists after resetting the driver,

contact the technical assistance service.

4. SAFETY PISTON PRESSURE ERROR –

when the air pressure is not suffi cient to operate the safety

piston this error will be generated, indicated by the message SAFE AXIS and the red dot in the top right

corner of the box corresponding to the affected axis (see Y Axis in fi gure 54). The same error may be

generated in the event of an axis malfunction in order to prevent unwanted movements. Check that the

air pressure is correct and that there are no leaks. If the problem persists after all the checks have been

carried out and completed, contact the technical assistance service.
