Before using the laser welding machine, carefully read the warnings in this section. Ensure that all warnings

and instructions displayed on the machine are observed. The following warnings are provided to ensure the

safe use of our products and to prevent damage or injury to operators or other persons. Make sure that you

have taken all the precautions indicated in the manual, all precautions are important for personal and work

safety.

THE LASER WELDING MACHINE IS POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS

Take all the necessary steps to protect yourself and others from the risk of serious injury or death. Always

wear protective eyewear. Keep children away from the machine. Personnel with pacemakers should

remain at a safe distance from the machine, unless they have specific medical permission. When using

lasers, operators may be exposed to certain risks. Welding is safe if the necessary precautions are taken.

Risks related to welding are limited to handling manufactured products. The process itself is extremely

safe. In any case, it is important to ensure that the machine is operated by authorised personnel only. All

installation, maintenance and repair work on the machine must be assigned to joke Technology GmbH

personnel or its authorised technicians.

ELECTRICAL SHOCKS CAN KILL

Contact with live electrical parts can have fatal consequences or cause severe burns.

Incorrect installation or earthing of the machine can be dangerous.
• Do not touch live electrical parts. Remove the power cable from the power outlet before installing the

machine or carrying out maintenance work on it.

• Install and earth the machine in accordance with the user manual and in full compliance with local

regulations and standards.

•  Switch the machine off after use.
•  Do not use cables that are weak or damaged, have insufficient cross section or are poorly connected.
•  Make sure that the cables are routed away from heat sources.
•  Use the device only if it is in perfect condition. Make sure that any damaged parts are repaired or

replaced immediately.

• Make sure that all the cover panels remain fixed and in place.

IN THE EVENT OF A MALFUNCTION, SWITCH THE MACHINE OFF IMMEDIATELY

If the device generates smoke or unusual odours, unplug the power cable immediately, taking care to avoid

burns or other injuries. Continued use of the laser welder in such conditions may result in serious injury

and/or damage. The device should only be examined by joke Technology GmbH personnel or its authorised

technicians.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISMANTLE THE EQUIPMENT

The internal components of the device can cause injury. In the event of malfunction, the product must be

repaired by qualified joke Technology GmbH personnel only.

DO NOT USE IN THE PRESENCE OF FLAMMABLE GASES

To avoid the risk of explosions or fires, do not use the equipment in environments saturated with flammable

gases with minimal ventilation. Always keep a fire extinguisher nearby.
