FUMES AND GAS MAY POSE HEALTH HAZARDS
The welding processes produce fumes and gases. Inhaling these may be dangerous to human health.
• Keep your head away from fumes. Do not inhale the fumes.
• Do not cover any part of the machine.
• Carefully read the instructions regarding the various types of materials that can be laser welded.
• We recommend using the laser welding system in a spacious environment specifically designed for this
purpose. If the working environment is small, make sure it is well ventilated.
• Do not weld near areas where degreasing, cleaning or vapourisation operations are carried out. The
heat may react with the vapours, producing highly toxic and irritating gases.
• Avoid using materials containing impurities that could produce smoke or gas during laser welding.
WELDING CAN CAUSE FIRES OR EXPLOSIONS
During the welding process the materials may emit sparks and/or overheat, causing fires and/or burns.
Accidental contact between overheated parts and the gas cylinder could result in an explosion.
• Do not carry out laser welding in places where the sparks could come into contact with flammable
material.
• Remove all flammable objects located near the LASER welding machine. If this is not possible, cover
them correctly with a flame retardant material.
• Be aware of fire risks: always keep a fire extinguisher nearby.
• Monitor the machine attentively during operation.

SAFETY
LASER RADIATION CAN DAMAGE THE RETINA AND BURN THE SKIN
Always wear protective eyewear when using the machine. Uncontrolled reflections
of the LASER beam can cause burns or, in the worst case, irreversible damage to
the retina. Never weld on reflective objects. Keep children away when using the
equipment.
