The lower end cap is fitted with a release system. See Figure 7. It holds the internal
structure that supports the electronic assembly. This end cap is also fitted with a screw
opening system tightening together the two end caps of the RT961B2S-Mk2 through the
tube. The RT961B2S-Mk2 release hook is a 2.5 tons load release, used when the load is
in the axis of the RT961B2S-Mk2 and the release unit on the side.

The recommended release rings are oval and of SWL = 3 tons type (ref.: 910 3234). See
Figure 8.

If necessary, sacrificial anodes can be installed as optional items (ref.: 910 1625).
