Here you configure the interrogation and response frequency codes. See Figure 23.
The transponder can be interrogated with an individual or a common interrogation signal
in responder or transponder mode. You can configure the transponder in such a way that
it can receive both individual and common interrogation signals or only one of them or
none of them. Three options are available for both individual or common interrogation
cases:

Disable transponder – Disable responder : The transponder cannot receive the type
(individual or common) of interrogation signal, the variables below are grayed.

Enable responder – Disable transponder : The transponder is set in responder
mode, the interrogation is made by an electrical signal and only the response (CRF or
IRF) is acoustic and must be configured, the other (CIF and IIF) is grayed.
•
Enable transponder – Disable responder : The transponder is set in transponder
mode, both IIF and CRF or CIF and IRF are acoustic and must be configured.

Procedure
Step Action
1.
Open the scrolling list on the frame top and select the transponder communication mode.
2.
If you have enabled the transponder mode, choose the interrogation signal IIF or CIF:
If the transponder is tracked by a monochromatic signal ( TONAL ), click on the bottom of
the vertical bar below IIF or CIF to have access to the single frequencies on the dial.
If the transponder is tracked by RAMSES, click on the top of the vertical bar below IIF or
CIF to have access to the RAMSES M-FSK codes on the dial.
Click in the dial on the code of your choice to select it.
