PERATING

ODES

The RT912S-Mk2 series unit can be operated in the following operating modes:

•

Remote

control

mode

•

Two interrogation positioning modes, Responder and Transponder modes

•

Pinger

mode

•

Optional Pressure Telemetry mode

II.2.3.1

Remote Control Mode

This mode has priority over all the other modes during the time of reception of the acoustic

remote control command. The characteristics of the remote control mode are:

•

2-states FSK coding, 8 bits words, 100 ms rate

•

Dual sequences commands: ARM code followed with FUNCTION code

ENABLE / DISABLE transponder channels

IIF ENABLE (IIF1) & CIF ENABLE (IIF2)

−

IIF ENABLE (IIF1) & CIF DISABLE (IIF2)

−

IIF DISABLE (IIF1) & CIF ENABLE (IIF2)

−

IIF DISABLE (IIF1) & CIF DISABLE (IIF2)

ENABLE / DISABLE responder channels

−

RESPONDER ON IIF(IIF1)

−

RESPONDER ON CIF (IIF2)

RELEASE with CAF acknowledgement and/or switch to Pinger mode

DIAGNOSTIC verticality telemetry and image of battery voltage

PINGER ON/OFF

ON/OFF pressure telemetry, after interrogation transponder/responder (if pressure

sensor option)

PRESSURE acoustical telemetry of the pressure on remote control (if pressure

sensor option)

ACOUSTIC RESET back to the factory configuration

•

CAF acknowledgement of reception and completion of the acoustical remote

commands

•

Compatibility with the TT801 remote control unit and the remote control function of

RAMSES 6000 and USBL-BOX
