The RT912S-Mk2 series unit can be operated in the following operating modes: 

 Remote 

control 

mode 

  Two interrogation positioning modes, Responder and Transponder modes 

 Pinger 

mode 

  Optional Pressure Telemetry mode 

II.2.3.1 

Remote Control Mode  

This mode has priority over all the other modes during the time of reception of the acoustic 

remote control command. The characteristics of the remote control mode are: 

  2-states FSK coding, 8 bits words, 100 ms rate 

  Dual sequences commands: ARM code followed with FUNCTION code

  IIF ENABLE (IIF1) & CIF ENABLE (IIF2) 

  IIF ENABLE (IIF1) & CIF DISABLE (IIF2) 

  IIF DISABLE (IIF1) & CIF ENABLE (IIF2) 

  IIF DISABLE (IIF1) & CIF DISABLE (IIF2)
