long-term storage

Equipment
List of tools required: (those are normally supplied together with any instrument)
•
ALLEN key and its extension arm (ref FO910 2971 or FOKIT-B2S)
•
Two ALLEN keys 5 mm for partial dismantle of hook
•
One metal bar not provided by IXSEA
Every time the unit is recommissioned: Systematically check the charge condition of the
remote control unit battery pack, charging the battery pack is recommended.

1.
Visual inspection of the complete unit,

Verify that the mechanical systems are properly greased (pins),
3.
With the remote control unit:
Check the releasing system for proper operation,

Insert new batteries. See PM03.
5.
After a one-week storage: rearm the B2S releasing system.
6.
After one month storage and more: same procedure as described
Fit new battery packs.
7.
End of procedure.
