Equipment
List of tools required: (those are normally supplied together with any instrument)
•
ALLEN key and its extension arm (ref FO910 2971 or FOKIT-B2S)
•
Two ALLEN keys 5 mm for partial dismantle of hook
•
One metal bar not provided by IXSEA
Before closing the instrument back, always check its correct operation: Preliminary Steps
•
Connect the transducer head to the electronic package
•
Test correct operation using surface remote control unit or direct cable link and
software if applicable.
In case of absence of operation, check the new batteries orientation and state. (Report to
operator’s manual for command sending and receiving.)
Step Action
1.
Approach the upper end plate from the tube, insert the central axis in its hole, gently
push on the transducer head so that it is almost fully inserted in its pre-locking position.
2.
Connect the transducer to the electronic package using the brown three ways connector.
Check that it is securely in locked position.
