Measurement procedure

After step (19) in Section 4.1.2.1, I

(1) Rotate HORIZONTAL range counterclockwise and set to STEP.

(2) Press STEP GENERATOR MENU key.

(3) Rotate FUNCTION knob to set NUMBER OF STEPS to 10.

The characteristics of the collector current vs. the base current are displayed with one

horizontal division equal to one step.
