used. Insert the air line nozzle inside
the element and blow the dust from the
inside to the outside. Blow loose par-
ticles from the outside of the element
by holding the the nozzle at least 300
mm (12 in) from the element. Protect
your eyes when carrying out this op-
eration.
4. Clean the inside of the air cleaner cas-
ing with a damp lint-free cloth and re-
install the outer element ensuring that
the rubber sealing ring on the end is
secure.

Cooling system (Figs. 32 to 34)
Warning
High pressure steam and hot water.
Remove the filler cap with extreme care.
DO NOT check or fill when the engine is
hot or running.
* Antifreeze: It is very important
that you read the label on the container
before you add antifreeze to the cool-
ing system. The safety precautions are
as follows:
1. Keep locked up and out of reach of
children.
2. Keep only in the original container.
3. Avoid contact with the skin and
eyes.
4. Wear suitable protective clothing
and gloves.
5. Harmful by inhalation and if swal-
lowed.
6. If swallowed, seek medical advice
immediately and show the label or
container.
Coolant (Figs. 32 to 34)
Check the radiator coolant level -
Flexible maintenance.
1. To check the coolant level first remove
the radiator cap slowly to allow pres-
sure to escape.
2. The coolant level must be maintained
at 25 mm (1 in) below the filler neck.
Drain the cooling system every 1000
hours.
