Cab air filter
Remove and clean the cab air fil-
ter - Flexible maintenance (Fig. 74 and
75).

Remove the bolts (1 Fig. 74 and 4 Fig.
75) covers (2 Fig. 73 and 3 Fig. 74) ,clean
the filter by carefully tapping it on the
palm of the hand, then direct compressed
air, maximum pressure 7 bar (100 lbf/in
2
),
through the filter in the opposite direction
to the normal air flow, from the inside out.
Keep the nozzle at least 300 mm (12 in)
from the element.

Clean the filter chamber with a damp
lint-free cloth and refit the filter, ensure
that it seats correctly in the housing.
Warning
Standard cab air filters are not
designed to filter out harmful chemicals.
When using agricultural chemicals follow
the instructions given by the chemical
manufacturer. Do not depend on the cab
air filter to protect you against harmful
chemicals. Consult with your ITMCO.
Dealer for advice on the availability of
special filters.
Caution
When handling the filter element, ex-
treme care must be taken to ensure that
the pleats of paper are not damaged or
ruptured.
