lights and rear lights. Press again to put
on the headlights.
Hazard warning switch (8 Fig. 2)
When the hazard warning switch is
pressed all the direction indicators will
flash together and the switch will flash a
red safety triangle. The green arrows will
also flash on the indicator warning light
(9 Fig. 2).
Pedals and gear levers (Fig. 3)
Clutch pedal (1 Fig. 3)
In these tractors the clutch pedal is
used to engage and disengage the drive
to the transmission and PTO shaft. The
live PTO is engaged and disengaged by the
use of the dual clutch. Depression of the
clutch pedal through the first stage dis-
connects the drive from the engine to the
transmission without interrupting the op-
eration of the PTO shaft and the hydraulic
pump. In second stage, the drive of PTO
shaft is disconnected.
Main gear lever (2 Fig. 3)
The gear lever knob has a diagram
engraved on its top face to indicate the
respective gear positions.On synchromesh
gearboxes changes can be made on the
move in the top two gears. The gear le-
ver is used in conjunction with the other
levers to select the required speed. (See
also the Travel speed chart on
page 34 ).
Figure 4 gives details of the various
gear shift patterns.
